Are you a passionate student of history who wants to explore the past in all its complexity? Ancient History & Archaeology at Reading enables you to go beyond the literature and classroom learning by giving you the opportunity to discover and study ancient objects and texts first hand. This joint degree will give you the opportunity to gain both historical and archaeological skills, and to combine the analysis of ancient texts with research on material culture and scientific techniques to understand the lives of people in antiquity.
