By studying a BASc in Theatre and Performance Studies and Global Sustainable Development, you will be exploring the radical and revolutionary artistic power of theatre and entertainment, and linking this to the global challenges that face our world today. Global Sustainable Development, you will be undertaking a diverse array of courses, developing research knowledge and investigating practical solutions to the Big Questions of our time. You will explore current challenges of sustainability from many different perspectives, understand their complexity and learn to use a variety of approaches to think creatively about how these problems might be overcome. Alongside this, in your Theatre study you will explore the history and present day trends of theatre and examine how burning questions of diasporas, sexuality, the body, the environment, and violence are expressed in creative artistic form.
