This course offers a range of opportunities for advanced postgraduate study with experienced supervisors in areas including: social studies of science and technology in clinical practice; qualitative methods in health research; cellular responses to DNA damage; musculoskeletal medicine, medical ethics, and medical education. A wide variety of medical and clinically applied research projects can be undertaken with the Lancaster Medical School.

Students must have studied for at least 4 years duration. For courses that require a 2:1 equivalent, students must have achieved 80- 85% in Bachelor's degree. For courses that require a 2:2 equivalent, they must have achieved 75-80 %. Higher grades may be required depending on the ranking of the institution.
