Law is not just about people suing their local council - nor is it all high-profile criminal cases involving judges, wigs and the drama of the courtroom. It is a subject that covers nearly all aspects of human activity - from the contract you enter into when you buy a chocolate bar in a newsagent to your right to freely express yourself. Law (Senior Status) is a two-year LLB programme for advanced students (those with a degree in another discipline). It is primarily designed for graduates who wish to obtain a qualifying law degree but will also be of interest to those non-law graduates who have an interest in reading law as a second academic degree. This qualification is recognised by the Bar Council and Law Society.
