This course is for people who would like to study a broader combination of key business and management topics in order to gain a wider appreciation of a career in business management.  It will provide you with the core skills to go into general management, or the option to focus more on one of the core areas you study in the first year. This flexibility is greatly appreciated by students as it provides additional time to compare the core areas, before deciding on whether to carry on down the general management route, or focusing a little more on an area that has piqued their interest. By the end of this course you'll be in an excellent position to apply for graduate training schemes and graduate roles within both large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises. You can also undertake further study at postgraduate level with a course such as our Business Masters. If you decide to start up your own business, it's good to know that the combined turnover of our graduates' start-up companies is higher than that of any other UK university.
