The BSc Occupational Therapy course will allow you to integrate your learning experiences in a broad range of clinical practice sessions to ensure you leave with an in-depth understanding of the professional standards required to successfully work within this profession. You will undertake a range of placements throughout the duration of your course, in addition to an assessed dissertation around a subject of particular interest in your final year.  You may have the option of doing an elective placement abroad should you wish to apply your skills to an international environment. As you progress through this course you will create a portfolio of professional development to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attributes that will be required once you enter the workplace. You will also be prepared for the application process and interview procedures through engagement and workshops with employers. Completion of this course will enable to work the private or public sector, both in the United Kingdom or abroad. You may also wish to progress to further study at a Master’s level.
