Economics and International Relations at Aberdeen is a great subject combination to set your thorough grounding in the global economy and how it operates, within the context of the complex and constantly changing relationships between nations. You will be taught by leading international experts who will keep you at the forefront of contemporary debate and a sought-after graduate across a range of career options.
You are assessed by any combination of three assessment methods: coursework such as essays and reports completed throughout the course; practical assessments of the skills and competencies learnt on the course; and written examinations at the end of each course.
There are a wide range of international careers open to you such as the civil service, embassies, emerging market economies, and some government opportunities.

In Arts and Social Sciences: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Science: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in two science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Engineering: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in Maths and Physics science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Law: Students with overall scores of 85% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry.
