In this course students can tailor their degree to their own interests with modules on the Ancient World to the War on Terror, including American, British, and Holocaust history, medieval warfare, Tudors and the history of empires. Teaching and supervision from world-class researchers who will work with you to explore the complexities of the past and why it matters Students can learn outside of the classroom in field trips, individual or small group tutorials, and placements in schools or colleges as well as inside the classroom, in lectures and seminars They can take part in our innovative ‘group project’ module, which provides a unique opportunity to work as a team and to present your research to the general public. They work with a huge range of historical sources and archival collections, including the University’s Special Collections the 7th largest UK Higher Education archival collection. They have lot of opportunities for language learning and study abroad
