The programme will deepen your knowledge and understanding of the history of modern and contemporary art, and prepare you for further research and/or a range of careers within the art world. This programme combines academic study, including compulsory courses on the Theory and Practice of Research and on the Culture of Display with more practical, vocational elements appropriate to studying in a major international art centre. Students will acquire knowledge and understanding in the field of modern and contemporary art, as well as transferable research skills. The programme offers the possibility of an internship in a museum or gallery.
