Lincoln University’s Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree has a specific focus on value chains. Value chains connect the world, and so do our graduates. Be it in supply chain management, marketing, food and resource economics, or accounting and finance, our graduates are bringing the world to New Zealand and New Zealand to the world. When businesses link their strategies and operations with what is happening in the global economy and with their commercial partners, they are well positioned to capture competitive advantages. The Food and Resource Economics major in Lincoln University's BCom has a unique focus on the importance of the food industry to New Zealand's and the world's economy. Areas of study include production systems, the New Zealand economy, trade economics and global value chains. You will graduate having been taught the in-depth analytical skills and knowledge required to become a professional economist in the global food and resource industries. Summary of Regulations All of the following: Pass at least 360 credits (24 courses) Pass all compulsory courses Complete no more than 165 credits (11 courses) at the 100 level Pass at least 75 credits (5 courses) at the 300 level Meet the requirements of at least one of the named Bachelor of Commerce majors. The Bachelor of Commerce can be awarded with Honours, a one-year qualification. This is open to students who have achieved a B+ or higher in 300 level courses.

Lincoln University recognises achievement through a limited number of recognised tests of English Language. Below are the minimum standards for entry to the programme: IELTS academic score of 6.0 overall, with no individual component less than 5.5 TOEFL (iBT) overall score of 60 (with at least 18 in writing) Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and First (FCE) overall score of 169, with no individual component less than 162 Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 50 with no communicative skills score less than 42 NZ Certificates in English Language (NZCEL) Level 4 (Academic Endorsement) Lincoln University English Language LU EL 65%.
