This course provides excellent opportunities for you to develop other skills relevant to a future career in the music profession. A separate postgraduate pathway is available for Jazz vocalists. You will receive specialist tuition from leading UK and internationally renowned performers and teachers. In addition, you will enjoy regular opportunities to sing in a variety of contexts, both as a soloist and in ensembles with other performers. These include not only classes and master classes (these last being led by distinguished guest performers), but also in concerts and on the operatic stage. This course allows you to work while you study with us, fitting the job around your course commitments. By taking part in the scheme, you will gain valuable experiences and employability skills, enhancing your prospects in the job market. It will also allow you to become more involved in University life by delivering, leading and supporting many aspects of the learning experience, from administration to research and mentoring roles.
