The Bachelor of Laws (Undergraduate Entry) fulfils the academic requirements for admission as a lawyer in Australia. In addition to the core units, which comply with professional accreditation requirements, the course includes unique core units such as the philosophy of law and environmental law that reflect the School of Law and Justice’s focus on justice and critique. Students may choose elective units to suit their interests and professional aspirations including areas as diverse as human rights, race and the law, animal law, climate law and policy, psychiatry, psychology and the law and ecological jurisprudence. Students may complete electives at an academically rigorous and rewarding Summer Law School in Byron Bay and the Gold Coast and undertake work placements and law mooting as part of their studies. Honours is embedded in the Bachelor of Laws degree and requires the completion of two specific units in addition to a high academic achievement overall. A small number of units include compulsory on-campus workshops. Applicants who do not have the required entry mark for the Bachelor of Laws are encouraged to apply for the Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) or the Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies. If students achieve the required grade point average, they can then apply for transfer into the Bachelor of Laws. Career opportunities As barristers or solicitors; or in law-related areas in private, corporate, or government organisations. During their careers, graduates can further develop a specialisation in many fields of law such as family law, wills and estate planning, criminal law, corporate law, property and conveyancing law, town planning and environmental law, employment and industrial relations, commercial law, compensation law, entertainment law and sporting law. 入学要求

为来自中国的学生设计 Other English Language Requirements accepted: TOEFL (paper based) score of 570; Pearson test of English (PTE) academic general score of 64; Cambridge English: advanced (CAE) general score of 58; Occupational English test (OET) score of Grade B or above. 国际学生入学条件 For undergraduate degrees, equivalent of Australian Year 12 qualification. Applicants must have IELTS - 6.0 with no band less than 5.5; CPE - 52; CAE - 52; TOEFL PBT - 550 min 4.5 (TWE); TOEFL iBT- 60 with no less than 17 in writing & speaking, no less than 11 in reading & listening; PTE - 50 with no communicative score less than 46; ISPLR - 3+ or better in all 4 skills; CEFR - B2.
