Accredited by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia, our Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) program is a practical degree that can be completed in three years of accelerated full-time study. Upon graduation you will be eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in Western Australia and other Australian jurisdictions pending the completion of the required practical legal training. Aimed at students who already have Bachelor's degree in a field other than law, this Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) degree is an accelerated program aimed at high achievers. Designed to be completed over three years of full-time study, this degree requires the completion of five subjects per semester in the first two years, and four subjects per semester in your final year. The program has been designed in collaboration with judges, senior barristers and leading solicitors to create a curriculum that is both academically challenging and highly practical. In addition, the School of Law continues to call on prominent members of the profession to assist in teaching, adding further to the highly practical nature of legal education at Notre Dame. Through our mentoring program, courtroom visits, mooting and internship programs, our law students are provided with multiple opportunities to experience the law in practice. Furthermore, you will cultivate such skills including public speaking, advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, and commercial practice within an intimate class setting. Students are also encouraged to learn outside of the classroom, particularly by attending our Eminent Speakers Series. This unique forum connects students and graduates with leading experts in the discussion of contemporary legal and professional matters.
