A contemporary and dynamic discipline, Politics and International Relations combines the study of national political processes and the mechanisms of government together with state and non-state actors, global challenges, and power in the international system. Politics and International Relations at UNSW equips students with the ability to describe, analyse and understand the politics of Australia and of the international global community. Introductory courses give students an initial overview of International Relations and Australian Politics, whilst upper level courses expand on these topics and students will also be able to broaden their knowledge in areas such as Political Science, World Policy and Globalisation.
