Learn the science of exercise, proper use and maintenance of exercise equipment, and how to develop and roll out fitness programs for the general population as well as people with special health requirements. You’ll study anatomy, physiology, exercise science, nutrition, and how to perform health and fitness screening and fitness appraisals. You’ll also gain generic work skills such as communication, client service, risk analysis, and sports first aid. This qualification will equip you with the necessary skills to work as a fitness instructor in a community or fitness facility.
