In the Certificate IV in Accounting, you’ll study manual accounting and computerized accounting, using MYOB, BAS, Payroll, Excel and Word. Assessment Methods Various forms of assessment may be used including classroom testing, assignments, presentations, group work, and case studies. A total of 10 core units and three elective units must be completed successfully to attain this qualification. Pathways to further study You may articulate into the Diploma of Accounting and even onto the Bachelor of Accounting. Completion of the Diploma of Accounting, with passes in prescribed taxation units, satisfies some of the academic requirements for registration as a tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.
