Overview
If you are currently working in the health services setting and want to expand your career into senior health management roles and to develop comprehensive skills in the theory and practice of public health and health services management, this course is designed for you. You will be prepared for future health services management roles that deal with the needs of the ageing population, integration of healthcare delivery systems, technological innovations and an increasing complex regulatory environment. You will complete nine subjects (135 credit points) from the Master of Health Administration program and twelve subjects (180 credit points) from the Master of Public Health program. You will be required to complete compulsory subjects and electives to cover essential areas. Electives can be selected from a combination of the two courses' subjects. The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 9.

Professional recognition
The Master of Health Administration is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM). Membership may require an application to the professional body and may have additional or ongoing requirements beyond the completion of the degree. Please contact the relevant professional body for details. Depending on subject choice, the Master of Health Administration is recognized by the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) as providing the theoretical underpinning to the experiential components of the Fellowship Training Program in medical administration.

English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0; TOEFL Paper-based Test - Overall score of 575 with 5 or better in TWE (Test of Written English); TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing, Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): Overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
国际学生入学条件
The minimum entry requirement is successful completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or its equivalent). Prior learning developed through relevant work experience or professional accreditation, where it is deemed to be at least equivalent to that obtained through a Bachelor degree, may be considered. Applicants are required to have two years professional experience, which can include part-time and volunteer experience. In making an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors to determine whether an applicant has demonstrated the capacity to work at a Masters level, including academic record, English proficiency, and/or employment experience.
