The Bachelor of Business Administration is designed to further develop the knowledge and skills of a diverse range of students taking a business pathway from diploma and advanced diploma level studies at TAFE and other vocational educational providers. You will learn to apply leading theories to real-world business situation, and demonstrate high-level proficiency in critical thinking, research, and the principles of social responsibility. Throughout the course you will build skills in team work and effective communication in a business context. Course objectives The Bachelor of Business Administration is designed to produce graduates with a sound knowledge of the fundamental principles and concepts in a range of key business disciplines such as human resource management, management and marketing. Learning Outcomes The Course Learning Outcomes (Human Resource and Management) are: Critically apply a broad, coherent and in-depth knowledge of foundational and contemporary business management theories, concepts, and principles to a range of organisational settings including large multinational firms, small local business, and social enterprises. Effectively communicate in written and oral form complex business management knowledge and ideas to a broad range of audiences. This includes the ability to argue for an idea, persuade, defend a proposition, negotiate a win-win outcome, and execute a business focussed presentation to a diverse audience. Obtain, critically analyse, interpret and apply data to complex business management problems in a range of organisational settings. Exercise judgement and intellectual independence to provide evidence-based solutions to a range of business management tasks in complex and changing organisational contexts. Evaluate relevant ethical and legal considerations in an impartial way for specialised business management contexts, and demonstrate the ability to provide commentary on forces driving organisational change to inform best practice. The Course Learning Outcomes (Marketing) are: Critically apply a broad, coherent and in-depth knowledge of foundational and contemporary business and marketing theories, concepts and principles to a range of organisational settings including large multinational firms, small local business, and social enterprises. Effectively communicate in written and oral form complex business and marketing ideas to a broad range of audiences. This includes the ability to argue for an idea, persuade, defend a proposition, negotiate a win-win outcome, and execute a marketing presentation to a diverse audience. Obtain, critically analyse, interpret and apply data to complex business and marketing problems in a range of organisational settings. Exercise judgement and intellectual independence to provide evidence-based solutions to a range of business and marketing tasks in complex and changing organisational contexts. Evaluate relevant ethical and legal considerations in an impartial way for specialised business and marketing contexts, and demonstrate the ability to provide commentary on forces driving organisational change to inform best practice. Career outcomes The course is designed to produce well educated and adaptable graduates, with appropriate professional skills to meet the existing needs and demands of business. The course specifically prepares you to work in such areas as management, human resource management, and marketing.

为来自中国的学生设计 Admission to undergraduate courses at the University of Tasmania requires qualifications equivalent to the 12th year of schooling in Australia. Entry requirements vary from country to country. For more details, please visit university site. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5); TOEFL (IBT) 72 (no skill below: Reading 10; Listening 9; Speaking 16; Writing 19); PTE Academic 50 with no score lower than 42; UTAS Access-English Level 6 - 60% (no individual score less than 55%); Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) - B Grade; Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) - C Grade; Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher - C Grade. 国际学生入学条件 Admission to the course is based upon completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a Business related discipline from TasTAFE, any other Australian RTO or overseas equivalent or completion of an Associate Degree in Applied Business (Full-Articulation Pathway). Students who have completed a business related Diploma will be eligible for 8 units advanced standing. Students who have completed a business related Advanced Diploma will be eligible for 12 units of advanced standing. Students who have completed the ADAB Full-Articulation pathway will be eligible for up to 16 units of credit dependent upon the units undertaken in the articulation pathway and their intended major. International students must provide one of the following: UTASAccess Level 6 with a minimum overall score of 60% and no individual skill below 55%; or an IELTS score with an overall Band of 6 and no band less than 5.5; or a TOEFL (iBT) overall score of 72 (no individual skill must be lower than: Reading 10; Listening 9; Speaking 16; and, Writing 19) or a PTE Academic overall score of 50 with no score lower than 42, or provide evidence that you have studied for 2 years full-time with English as the sole medium of instruction and examination. These tests must not be more than 24 months old.
