The Diploma of Engineering consists of Deakin University's first year degree units and equips you with the skills and knowledge required for a full spectrum of opportunities in the engineering field. You will choose to specialize in civil, electrical and electronics, mechanical, and mechatronics when you enter second year at Deakin University.

Diploma of Engineering requires a pre-requisite subject of mathematics (Year 12 or equivalent). Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Australia.
