Description
The Certificate III in Carpentry course provides the learner with skills and knowledge required for the basic construction techniques. From excavation of footings, preparation of the floor system, construction of wall and roof framing, cladding and lining, sequences construction to suit other trades (plumber, electrician, plasterer, painter, tiler, bricklayer, etc.) through to the completion.
On successful completion, the learner will have the ability to work unassisted with tradespersons in the residential and commercial construction industry.
Course structure
To receive the Certificate III in Carpentry students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.

入学要求
国际学生入学条件
Students are required to also complete the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (SAC 2006) before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry covers this requirement.
Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 46 or Certificate III in Advanced English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.
