This qualification provides a broad based integrated learning experience in design exploring colour and media, drawing, computers for design, graphic design, film appreciation and camera techniques, presentation techniques, design research, introduction to film and video, with major projects exploring product/industrial design, architecture/interior design, set design, costume, textiles and illustration. Course Structure: To receive the Certificate IV in Design (Multi Discipline) students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units. Note: Additional units contain compulsory and elective units which may vary between each semester and campus, and will depend on a number of considerations including the packaging rules for the qualification and demand for the unit. They allow students to complete prerequisite courses or achieve the entry requirement equivalent. Students can submit a single application form to apply for multiple courses.
