Geophysics involves the study of the inaccessible Earth using physical measurements and the interpretation of these measurements in terms of subsurface structures and phenomena. A geophysicist is a scientist who applies the principles of physics to the study of the Earth. As part of this course, you will benefit from special advanced units in geophysics that are not available to other students. Many students will go on to further Postgraduate studies in geophysics.
