Business analyst Economic consultant Energy research officer Environmental economist Financial policy advisor Graduate economist Health economist International economist Institution development coordinator Lecturer in economics Microeconomic analyst Policy analyst Trainee dealer Structure The BApplEcon degree requires a minimum of 360 credits acquired over three years, with the following requirements: not more than 180 credits at the 100-level at least 270 credits must be taken from the Schedule for the Degree of Bachelor of Applied Economics (This includes all compulsory courses) include at least 90 credits at the 300-level remaining credits may be taken from more Economics courses (prefix 178), or approved courses from any other degree courses Candidates may credit to the BApplEcon course no more than 45 credits in which they have gained an R (restricted pass). A restricted pass shall not qualify as a pass for corequisite or prerequisite purposes.

入学要求

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have completed New Zealand secondary school qualification or other equivalent overseas qualification. English Language Requirements: IELTS score of 5.0 (no band less than 5.0). TOEFL iBT score of 61 overall (min 17 in Reading & Writing). PTE Academic score of 36 Overall (min 36 in communicative skills). Cambridge English score of 155. 国际学生入学条件 There are no special entry requirements for entry into the BApplEcon beyond those that qualify you for study at the University. In order to widen your choice of courses, or to fit in with your other commitments, you may opt for a mix of internal and distance learning courses. It would be useful if you had studied Economics, or Maths with Calculus, or Maths with Statistics at secondary school. Students must have successful completion of a qualification equivalent to the New Zealand Year 13 - NCEA Level 3 University Entrance. International students need to check the equivalency of their secondary school qualification by reviewing the Academic Admission Requirements by Country. Students from a country where English is not the first language, must obtain a minimum English Language competency level.
