When you complete the Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging, you’ll have the basic skills and experience you need to work as a photo imaging practitioner. Endorsed by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), this course combines theory and practical training with a strong emphasis on design and creativity. You'll gain a working knowledge of camera craft and develop technical skills such as lighting, image capture, black and white and colour photography, enhancements, manipulation, output and calibration. High dynamic range (HDR) and analogue techniques, such as cyanotypes and infrared, will also be explored. Through your studies, you'll take part in a public exhibition and in real-life industry projects including events photography.
